Founded in 1990, Kagan
Associates, LLC, specializes in helping organizations and individuals
transform themselves through a process of discovery, vision, focus, and
conscious action.
We offer a humanistic approach to helping
your organization grow, bringing a fresh eye, depth of experience, and
specialized knowledge to the complex challenges that many organizations face
today.
We provide consulting and planning
expertise to leadership teams and their organizations so that they may reap
more fully the talents and energies of their people. Through our work
together, you will gain confidence in your own abilities to achieve
organizational goals. You and your team will learn to think strategically
and act collaboratively in creating the future you desire.
Why Contact Us?
-
Your organization is
bogged down in the day-to-day, with no time to think or plan
strategically.
-
Your departments
function as silos, with little communication or collaboration among
them.
-
One of your strongest
leaders technically is one of your weakest leaders interpersonally.
-
You'd like every person
in your organization to be on the same page with your vision and
mission.
-
Your organization is in
crisis, either because you are overwhelmed with business or have too
little.
-
You find that your
people have many good ideas, but little follow-through on their
commitments, with no consequences for inaction.
-
Morale is at an all-time
low and you're losing your best people at all levels of the
organization.
Leslie is a creative strategist and
facilitator with an acute sensitivity to the emotional undercurrents that
influence organizational behavior. Under Leslie's leadership, Kagan
Associates has helped clients successfully break through strategic and
visionary challenges with complex planning, organizational, and
interpersonal dimensions. Her strengths lie in her ability to deal with
difficult or highly sensitive issues, including situations of emotionally
charged conflict, in a constructive and compassionate manner.
Leslie has encouraged many organizations to
achieve new levels of performance by supporting the unique talents and
energies of their people in achieving organizational goals. She skillfully
integrates the "softer" and "harder" sides of business into seamless
solutions that fit organically with the many facets of organizational life.
Whether working in the private or public sector, she is universally praised
for her caring heart, intuitive insights, and commitment to success that she
brings to her clients. In recognition of these talents, she was named
Entrepreneur of the Year in 2001 by New England Women In Real Estate.
Leslie maintains a healthy perspective in
her organizational consulting practice through her involvement with horses
and the HorseSense program and her interfaith chaplaincy. She has completed
two units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in
Boston, trained as a pediatric hospice volunteer with HealthCare Dimensions
Hospice, an affiliate of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and participated in
Caring Canines, a program to take registered therapy dogs to visit nursing
homes, hospitals, schools and assisted living facilities with their handlers
as a community service. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the
Chaplaincy Institute for the Arts and Interfaith Ministries in Berkeley,
California.
Leslie is certified in the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator® (MBTI®), the Kolbe Pure Instinct System®, the Emotional and
Social Competency Inventory (ESCI), and the Life Styles InventoryTM (LSI).
