“She is truly a rare talent! Her technical command over her instrument is
astonishing and more than that her creative power is limitless! It goes
together with her wonderful musicality.”
Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi
Professor of Music, Indiana University
“I find her an outstanding young cellist, technically brilliant, musically
and artistically utterly convincing…What is outstanding in her playing – as
compared with many other fine cellists – is her communication, her ability
to make one listen, even to a “modest” chamber music part.”
Claude Frank, pianist
Faculty, Curtis Institute of Music
Adjunct Professor, Yale School of Music
“Our first student-teacher contact was during the Department of Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology seminars and practices. I was very much impressed by
Ms. Singer´s outstanding knowledge and problem solving capacity.
In addition to her good academic performances, her wide interest and very
positive character make her a natural leader among students. As an
individual, she is a highly intelligent person, she is pleasant to work with,
has a good sense of humor, shows initiative and maturity.”
Goran Petrovski
M.D., Ophth. Resident, Biomed. Eng. (WSU,USA)
“I have been teaching the cello to Carolina for three years at the Yale
School of Music and have had ample opportunity to assess both her personal
and intellectual qualities. Simply put, Carolina is one of the most amazing
people I have ever taught.”
“Carolina is one of the most promising young artists I have ever taught. She
combines solid technique and mature musicianship with her own very special
charismatic stage presence and she enthrals her audience every time she
performs.
She is an excellent chamber musician as well as soloist, and is a
communicative, effective teacher. In addition, she is a mature, responsible
person…Carolina works well with her colleagues and is respected by all who
know her. I recommend her most highly without reservation.”

Samuel Sanford Professor of Music
